If I were president the first things I would advocate for:
1) Return the dollar back the to gold standard Take monetary policy out of the hands of people and places it in the hands of the free market. In the short term the market would be a better reflection of the economy. In the long term the market would be healthier.
2) Eliminate the Electoral College Allow presidential elections to be fought in all states, not just swing states.
3) Impose term limits on senators and congressmen Professional politician server themselves and lobbyist more than they serve the people.
4) Statehood for the District of Columbia 500,000 people pay Federal Income Tax and have no representation. A little war was fought somewhere in the North East over this issue. Today’s situation is a crime.
