I fly through BWI about three times a month. The only thing more noticeable than TSA screeners are soldiers is tan camo. Everyday 500 members of the US armed forces are flown home from the Middle East to Baltimore and Atlanta for R&R leave. Recently legislation has been passed that will provide money to help the soldiers pay for tickets from Baltimore and Atlanta home, but at this point the money has not trickled down to the enlisted so they are on their own to get the rest of the way home. A number of airlines are now allowing people to make donations of frequent flier miles to help get these men and women home to see there families. You can make a donation of miles at Hero Miles.
You can customize for your gender and location at Weather Pixie. The wab page creates the html code that you can cut and paste into your web page or e-mail. As the weather and time change so will the background and the person’s clothing.

This has to be the coolest thing I have seen in a very long time (right along the lines of “Ted’s Angel’s”).
Sure, they wouldn’t know who they were joining, or what they were joining, or why they were joining… or even what ‘joining’ meant… but would that be enough to put them off?
4000 passport photos later, I realise that was a silly question.
This is what I want for Christmas, though it looks as if the on-line store is sold out for now. PixelBlocks are building blocks for a digital age. Yes, I love my Legos (and PixelBlocks will work with Legos), but these are just too cool. The are translucent so they catch the light and come in 20 colors. Not only do the lock top to bottom like Legos, but also side to side. ..
There is even a function on the web site in which you can up load your digital photo and it will create the PixelBlocks map of the image so you can recreate your favorite photos in stained glass.
